Minister Šibonjić attends Čelični izazov OCR race and awards top finishers

The Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Šibonjić, attended the "Čelični izazov" OCR race at Kamberovića polje in Zenica, one of the most notable sporting events of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the occasion he offered support to the organisers and participants and presented awards to the most successful competitors.

This year's edition of "Čelični izazov" brought together more than 200 competitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and countries of the region. The event has been growing year on year and is outgrowing its local boundaries, positioning Zenica as a host of significant sporting events of a regional character. It is an obstacle course race that promotes sport, a healthy lifestyle and the tourism potential of the canton, gathering both recreational and professional competitors of all ages.

By supporting events of this kind, the Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton continues to invest in projects that promote togetherness, sporting spirit and an active life, as well as the positive promotion of the canton. Minister Šibonjić congratulated all participants on their endurance and sporting spirit, and especially the winners of this year's edition. "Events such as these confirm that Zenica has the capacity to host major sporting events, and the Ministry remains committed to supporting projects that strengthen the community and promote our canton," said Minister Šibonjić.
