Minister Šibonjić hosts ZEPS fair delegation and announces new congress centre

The Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Šibonjić, together with Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, hosted representatives of the International General BH Fair ZEPS at a working meeting in Zenica. The delegation comprised General Director Elvir Ajanović, Executive Director Sanel Ibrić and Director of Corporate Communications Adis Hasaković, and the talks focused on preparations for this year's edition of the fair, scheduled from 2 to 5 September.

For years, ZEPS has established itself as one of the most significant economic events in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is increasingly recognised as a regional business platform. Interest in this year's edition is exceptionally high, with exhibition capacity already reaching 90 per cent, prompting plans to expand the exhibition space. A dedicated part of the discussion concerned the initiative to build a modern fair and congress centre in Zenica, a facility that would enable the organisation of international fairs, congresses and business events throughout the year.

Minister Šibonjić emphasised that strengthening business connections is one of the priorities of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and that the fair reaffirms its international importance year after year. "Our message is clear - Business First. We promised to bring ZEPS back and we delivered, and today there is no doubt that ZEPS is once again a place where business opportunities are created and doors open to new investments," said Minister Šibonjić. It was concluded that the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the ZEPS management will continue intensive cooperation on joint development projects, confirming the Ministry's commitment to remaining a strong partner of the fair.
