Minister Sibonjic Met with the Director of Scorpio d.o.o. Zenica, Edin Durmo

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic met with Edin Durmo, director of the company Scorpio d.o.o. Zenica, which emerged from the Scorpio Extreme Sports Club with over 30 years of experience in extreme sports and adventure activities in nature across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

Edin Durmo is one of the most prominent athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans in the fields of mountaineering, sport climbing and extreme sports, with over 1,000 alpine ascents including approximately 200 first ascent routes, and participation in expeditions in the Alps, Caucasus, Pamir, Tian Shan and Himalayas. Of particular note is his ascent of Khan Tengri at 7,013 metres. Durmo is also the founder of the Scorpio Club Zenica, from which many renowned Bosnian-Herzegovinian mountaineers have emerged.

The meeting discussed initiatives that would enrich the tourism offering in the Zenica-Doboj Canton area. Also present was Jasmin Imamović, President of the Bridges of Friendship BiH Association, an organisation that carries out activities aimed at the positive promotion of the Canton.
