Minister Sibonjic Visits Boha Company

The Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton visited Boha company, where he spoke with founders Sabrija Kulovac and Harun Begagić and their employees. The challenges and needs the company faces in daily operations were presented, as well as plans for further development of production capacities.

The shortage of workforce was particularly highlighted as a key factor limiting further development and production increase. Boha, founded in 2002 and operating since 2008, employs 75 people and specialises in upholstered furniture manufacturing, building a recognisable brand on the domestic market distinguished by its craftsmanship quality.

Minister Sibonjic expressed support for the further development of Boha and noted that the shortage of qualified workforce is a challenge faced by a significant part of the manufacturing sector in the canton. The Ministry of Economy is committed to finding systemic solutions to this issue in cooperation with educational institutions and other relevant partners.
