Ministry of Economy of ZDK Supported Business Meetings of ZDK Entrepreneurs Organized by ZEDA

Organized by the Zenica Development Agency ZEDA, business meetings of entrepreneurs from Zenica-Doboj Canton were held in Zenica, with more than 60 representatives of small and medium enterprises, local communities, institutions, and development organizations taking part. The Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton recognizes the importance of such events for strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic economy, networking of business entities, and promotion of existing and future development programs.

During the meetings, the International General BH Fair ZEPS 2025 was presented, along with cooperation opportunities through the COSME – Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) project and public calls of the Ministry of Economy of ZDK for support to the SME sector, exports, and joint participation in fairs. Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic emphasized that the Ministry continuously works on improving the business environment, and that in addition to individual programs, incentives for co-financing joint appearances of companies from the canton at fairs such as ZEPS and the Tešanj Fair have been planned. He also noted that a public call for industrial zones is underway and that this year 1,000 KM per employee has been secured for traditional crafts.

The Ministry invites all business entities from the canton to actively participate in the announced public calls and take advantage of opportunities to promote their capacities on both domestic and international markets. The business meetings organized by ZEDA confirm the importance of direct dialogue between institutions, development agencies, and the business community for further economic development of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
