Prime Minister Mehmedić and Minister Sibonjic Met with Representatives of the FBiH Employers' Association

PM Mehmedić and Minister Sibonjic met with the Federation of BiH Employers Association to discuss social dialogue, business climate and employment.

Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Amra Mehmedić and Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic held a working meeting with a delegation of the FBiH Employers' Association consisting of President Adnan Smailbegović, Director Mario Nenadić, Chair of the Management Board of the ZDK Employers' Group Alma Zaimović and Vice Presidents Ibrahim Meškić and Nagib Mujkić.

The Association's representatives informed the Prime Minister and Minister about their work and activities, which include the preparation of proposals for new legal solutions to improve the business environment. Among the priorities for the coming period, the adoption of the Law on the Economic-Social Council, the Law on Dual Education, the abolition of parafiscal levies and addressing the shortage of qualified labour through adapting educational curricula were highlighted.

Prime Minister Mehmedić noted that employers have a partner in the Canton Government, while Minister Sibonjic emphasised that this year's incentive programme for the economy has nearly doubled, increasing from 4.5 to 8.3 million KM, of which 4.6 million is allocated for subsidies to private enterprises and 3.7 million for business zone infrastructure development, representing the largest allocation to date.
