Visit to the company Malak Farma Kakanj

Minister Sibonjic visited Malak Farma in Kakanj, an agri-tourism project employing 103 workers with over 10 million KM invested, part of the Malak Group.

Minister Sibonjic visited Malak Farma Kakanj and spoke with Director Nedžmin Begić, who presented the results achieved to date and projects planned for the future. Malak Farma is one of the projects within the Malak Group, which has been operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina for ten years and employs around 450 people, including Malak Hotel at Ilidža, Malak Resort near Vrelo Bosne and the wood processing factory Malak Janj in Donji Vakuf.

The Malak Farma project was launched in 2019 in Kakanj Municipality, in the village of Zajezda, with total investments exceeding ten million KM. The farm is oriented towards production and tourism – various types of animals are raised, producing milk, meat, eggs and honey, with three small factories for processing meat, dairy products, and fruit and vegetables. In addition to production, the farm offers a restaurant, accommodation, an adventure park, a children's playground and a range of educational, entertainment and sports facilities.

Minister Sibonjic expressed satisfaction with the results achieved, emphasising that Malak Farma, with its 103 employees and a tendency for continuous growth, represents an outstanding example of successfully combining agricultural production and tourism. He expressed gratitude to the management and workers for their hospitality and wished them continued business success.
