Visit to the Italian Province of Brescia
Minister Sibonjic discussed economic cooperation in the Province of Brescia and visited the Tenaris Dalmine factory.
Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited the Italian province of Brescia, where he discussed new opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation between the Zenica-Doboj Canton and this industrially strong region with President Emanuele Moraschini and Production Adviser Tomaso Brognoli.
The Zenica-Doboj Canton already enjoys excellent cooperation with the Piedmont region, and with this visit Minister Sibonjic expressed the intention to extend cooperation to Lombardy, one of the strongest industrial centres in Italy. As part of the visit, a tour of the Tenaris Dalmine factory was organised – a leader in the Italian metal industry – where experiences were exchanged and potential links with canton business people were discussed.
The visit to the Province of Brescia represents a continuation of the Ministry of Economy activities in opening new channels of cooperation and strengthening economic bridges towards European regions, with the aim of attracting investments and promoting the economic capacities of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
