

Minister of Economy of ZDK Visited One of the Leading Design Firms in BiH: The Engineers of Aksa Are Proof of Motivation
Minister Sibonjic visited AKSA, one of the leading engineering and design firms in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited one of the leading design firms in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aksa d.o.o. in Zenica, where he spoke with the founder and owner Zvjezdan Turkić, co-owner Senaida Turkić and director Haris Turkić. The company was founded in 1989 and employs 20 people, of whom 17 are graduate engineers, organised through departments for architectural design, structural engineering, facade engineering and metal structures.
Aksa has been successfully designing for American investors on the US market for the sixth year, with the share of revenue from the American market accounting for 70 per cent of the company's total revenue in 2022. In its 34 years of operation, the firm has completed numerous projects of national significance, including the Council of Ministers Building in Sarajevo, the Zenica City Arena, the Football House of NS/FS BiH and the Zenica City Museum.
Minister Sibonjic noted that the engineers of Aksa are proof that outstanding and motivated people who have proven their competitiveness in the most demanding world markets live in Zenica-Doboj Canton. He emphasised that the company pays special attention to human resources and the continuous professional development of young architects and engineers, enabling them to work for foreign markets from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
