Minister Sibonjic Announces Major Campaign to Promote Purchase of Domestic Products

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton between Minister Samir Sibonjic and representatives of the development agencies operating in the canton. The meeting was attended by the directors of the Zenica Development Agency (ZEDA) Senad Pašalić, Žepče Development Agency (RAŽ) Branka Janko, Zavidovići Development Agency (RAZ) Ajdin Polić, and representative of the Tešanj Development Agency (TRA) Muamer Omahić.

Discussions focused on the importance of developing local communities through the work of the agencies and strengthening mutual cooperation in the future. Minister Sibonjic announced a major campaign to promote the purchase of domestic products, presenting the strategy and implementation plan. The agencies expressed readiness to support the Ministry with their resources and expertise in the realisation of this and other initiatives, including the establishment of a mechanism for monitoring the effects of support measures and incentive programmes.

The agency representatives expressed satisfaction with the conclusions of the meeting and particularly highlighted the importance of establishing a fund to support development agencies, as well as the need for their more active involvement in monitoring and planning the Ministry's support programmes. The Minister thanked the directors for their results to date and emphasised the commitment to continued support for their work.
