Minister Sibonjic Held a Meeting with Representatives of ZDK Development Agencies

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton between Minister Samir Sibonjic and representatives of the canton's development agencies. The meeting was attended by directors of four agencies: Senad Pašalić from the Zenica Development Agency (ZEDA), Branka Janko from the Žepče Development Agency (RAŽ), Ajdin Polić from the Zavidovići Development Agency (RAZ), and Edin Ibrahimović from the Tešanj Development Agency (TRA).

During the meeting, the importance of development agencies' activities at the local and cantonal levels was acknowledged, along with the need to strengthen mutual cooperation. The establishment of a co-financing fund for agency projects was proposed, with emphasis on the fact that the agencies possess significant experience and capacity in implementing European Union-funded projects. The agencies made their resources and expertise available to the Ministry through the establishment of a mechanism for monitoring the effects of support measures and incentive programmes.

Minister Sibonjic thanked the directors for their results to date and for promoting the Ministry's programmes through information days organised by the agencies, and expressed his commitment to supporting their future work. The agency representatives expressed satisfaction with the meeting's conclusions, with the expectation that a support fund will be established soon and that agencies will be included in monitoring and planning the Ministry's support programme measures.
