Minister Šibonjić at the 29th Cantonal Mathematics Competition in Zavidovići

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić attended the 29th cantonal primary school mathematics competition, held at the Second Primary School in Zavidovići. The competition brought together the most successful pupils from across Zenica-Doboj Canton, who demonstrated exceptional abilities and a love of mathematics in a spirit of fair competition and mutual respect.

The top-placing pupils by grade were: in sixth grade Nahra Nukić (Mula Mustafa Bašeskija Primary School, Visoko), Halima Hasić (Kovači Primary School, Zavidovići), and Ajša Šušnjević (Arnauti Primary School, Zenica); in seventh grade Emma Omić (Second Primary School, Zavidovići), Adin Dubravac (First Primary School, Zavidovići), and Nermin Džebić (Second Primary School, Zavidovići); in eighth grade Eman Junuzi (Edhem Mulabdić Primary School, Zenica), Emin Džafić (Kulin Ban Primary School, Visoko), and Nađa Srkalović (Huso Hodžić Primary School, Tešanj); and in ninth grade Bakir Suljić (Meša Selimović Primary School, Zenica), Emin Čišija (Kulin Ban Primary School, Visoko), and Madžid Smajić (Džemal Bijedić Primary School, Miljanovci, Tešanj).

Minister Šibonjić addressed the participants at the opening of the competition, emphasising the importance of investing in education and supporting young talent. The results achieved attest to the dedicated work of both pupils and their teachers, and the Minister highlighted the commitment of Zenica-Doboj Canton institutions to continuing to provide support for the development and recognition of young people.
