Minister Šibonjić attended the opening of the 20th Tešanj International Business Fair

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić attended the official opening and the first day of the 20th International Business Fair Tešanj 2026. The anniversary edition of the fair brought together a large number of exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. It once again confirmed the importance of Tešanj as one of the country’s leading economic centres.

The fair is organised by the Business Association “Biznis centar” Jelah-Tešanj, which has developed the event into a platform for connecting domestic and foreign businesses. Over the days of the fair, exhibitors and visitors can take part in B2B meetings, lectures, panel discussions and presentations. Chambers of commerce, public administration, international organisations and diplomatic missions also take part. Having grown steadily over the years, the fair has become a recognised meeting point for business, ideas and new opportunities.

Minister Šibonjić emphasised that the fair in Tešanj offers an opportunity for networking, exchanging experience, establishing new business contacts and opening the door to future investment. The number and diversity of exhibitors reflect the strength and potential of the economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Minister’s attendance at the anniversary fair reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting businesses and working with them to build a stronger economy and a better future.
