Minister Šibonjić attends the opening of ZEPS 2026 economy fair in Zenica

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić attended the official opening of the International General BH Economy Fair ZEPS 2026, held at Kamberovića Polje in Zenica from 2 to 5 September 2026. Under the slogan “Business First”, the fair brought together companies, businesspeople, investors, business delegations and guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and international markets, once again making Zenica a centre of economy, business, new ideas and opportunities.

ZEPS, organised by Poslovni sistem RMK d.d. Zenica, is one of the most significant economic events in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is being held this year for the thirtieth time. Last year’s edition gathered around 500 exhibitors from 15 countries, and more than 1,000 B2B meetings were organised during the fair. This year, participation by companies from the Republic of Türkiye is particularly prominent, with B2B meetings involving more than 50 Turkish companies planned at the Turkish national pavilion under the patronage of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to the official opening, the fair programme includes business meetings, panels, visits by international delegations and content dedicated to technology, digitalisation, entrepreneurship, investment and cooperation between universities and industry. For companies from Zenica-Doboj Canton, ZEPS offers an opportunity to showcase their products, connect with new partners and enter new markets. The Ministry of Economy remains committed to supporting domestic businesses and strengthening a business environment that contributes to the economic development of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
