Minister Šibonjić hosted representatives of the SHE BiH businesswomen association, discussing the strengthening of women's entrepreneurship and cooperation.
The Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Šibonjić, hosted representatives of the Association of Businesswomen "SHE" BiH, an organisation that brings together female entrepreneurs and professionals from across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting addressed the strengthening of women's entrepreneurship, opportunities for cooperation and the importance of supporting women in the business world.
The Association of Businesswomen "SHE" BiH brings together female entrepreneurs and professionals from various fields and sectors across Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of networking, exchanging knowledge and experience, and jointly advocating for the interests of women in the economy. Through its activities, the organisation provides support to women in starting and developing businesses, strengthening business skills and creating opportunities for cooperation, thereby contributing to greater participation of women in economic flows.
During the meeting, concrete possibilities for cooperation between the Ministry and the Association were considered, as well as measures that can contribute to a better position for female entrepreneurs in the canton. Minister Šibonjić emphasised the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to contributing, through a partnership with initiatives of this kind, to the empowerment of entrepreneurship, the development of new business opportunities and the greater inclusion of women in economic flows. "Women's entrepreneurship represents significant development potential, and the Ministry remains committed to supporting initiatives that open up better opportunities for women in the economy," said Minister Šibonjić.
