Minister Šibonjić Meets with IT Sector Representatives of Zenica-Doboj Canton

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić held a meeting with representatives of the IT sector operating in the canton. During the meeting, discussions were held on the current state of the information technology sector, the capacities of domestic IT companies, and the possibilities for further development of this sector as one of the important branches of the Zenica-Doboj Canton economy.

Particular attention was devoted to the role of young professionals who develop software solutions and digital products aimed at improving the operations of domestic companies. The significance of digitalisation and the application of new technologies as key factors in strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic economy in both local and international markets was discussed.

Minister Šibonjić emphasised the Ministry's commitment to providing institutional support for the development of the IT sector in the canton, including the creation of a supportive business environment for technology companies, support for the employment of young professionals, and strengthening cooperation between the IT sector and traditional economic branches with the aim of achieving an overall digital transformation of the canton's economy.
