Minister Sibonjic Meets with the Mayor of Frankfurt on Expanding Economic Cooperation

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic paid a working visit to Frankfurt, where he met with Mayor of Frankfurt Mike Josef, business leaders originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives of the Bosniak Cultural Centre Frankfurt. The Minister thanked Germany for the cooperation thus far, highlighting the importance of Frankfurt as a financial and economic leader in Germany and Europe.

The Zenica-Doboj Canton represents one of the most active industrial regions in Southeast Europe, with potential for growth and development in virtually all branches of manufacturing. Minister Sibonjic presented the economic potential of ZDK, emphasising key sectors for investment and opportunities for cooperation between Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies and businesses in Germany.

The Ministry of Economy of ZDK expressed readiness to open intensive talks on a significant expansion of economic cooperation with the Frankfurt region and the Federal Republic of Germany. This visit confirms the strategic commitment to strengthening economic ties and creating new business opportunities, particularly for citizens of the canton living and working in the diaspora.
