First Zenica Diaspora Business Forum: Enormous Potential of People Abroad

The Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, Samir Sibonjic, attended the First Zenica Diaspora Business Forum, congratulating the City of Zenica on organising this significant event. The Minister emphasised that the Government of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton and the Ministry of Economy see enormous potential and great strength in people living abroad.

The ZDK Government is committed to providing economic incentives, with a record 8.2 million KM allocated this year. Of this amount, 4.6 million KM has been directed towards small and medium enterprises through various forms of incentives, while 3.6 million KM has been earmarked for industrial zones, which are of particular importance for diaspora investments.

The forum provided an opportunity to establish direct dialogue between government representatives and successful business people from the diaspora, with the aim of creating a more favourable environment for investment and the return of skilled professionals to Zeničko-Dobojski Canton.
