Minister Sibonjic Met with the Director of Koteks d.o.o. Tešanj

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic received Adisa Karahodžić, director of the company Koteks d.o.o. Tešanj, at the Ministry's office. Koteks is a manufacturer of textile and leather garments with particular emphasis on military and police equipment, equipment for special services and security guards, including uniforms developed based on NATO combat uniforms, tactical gear, and protective vests.

During the meeting, key problems in the market of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Federation of BiH were identified, particularly the lack of direct contracts in the textile sector, as most companies work on low-paid sewing service jobs. It was concluded that building one's own brand can be a way out of this situation, with Koteks having already built the Koteks Leather brand in the leather garment segment, recognized for the quality and durability of its products.

Karahodžić also informed the Minister about an initiative to establish a businesswomen's association in the municipality of Tešanj, expressing the expectation that this idea will receive support from all relevant structures to come to fruition.
