Visit to Textile Company Bontex d.o.o. Maglaj

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic, together with Minister for Veterans' Affairs Adnan Sirović and Deputy Chairperson of the Maglaj Municipal Council Aida Bašić, visited the textile company Bontex d.o.o. in Maglaj. Bontex is a company headquartered in Maglaj that has been operating since 2005, today employing 220 workers and producing for brands such as Hauber, Luisa Cerano, Albiro, Schild, PKZ, Luca Maldini, Manor, and Weder Meier. A special programme involves the tailoring of custom shirts for the demanding markets of Switzerland and other European countries.

"Bontex is a company that in a short time has managed to establish itself in both the domestic and international markets. The combination of cutting-edge technology and the exceptional tailoring skills of its workers has created a brand of outstanding quality," said Minister Sibonjic. The company also produces uniforms for the gastronomy and hospitality sector for clients such as the Marriott hotels, Radon Plaza, and others, with custom uniform production being a demanding process that requires considerable effort, investment, and expertise.

Bontex bases its success on quality that competes on equal terms with Western manufacturers, and the owner prefers to work with domestic firms such as "Natron" from Maglaj and "Gira" from Gračanica, thereby further contributing to the strengthening of the domestic economic value chain.
