Minister Sibonjic: Metallon Plast from Zenica to Hire 50 Workers Soon

Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton Samir Sibonjic visited Mettalon Plast d.o.o. in Zenica, a company engaged in the production of steel structures, PVC and aluminium joinery, and glass facades, which is also launching the production of prefabricated houses. Company owner Asmir Pašanbegović announced an investment of 1 million KM in a new facility a year ago, which has been successfully realised and will create 50 new jobs in addition to the existing 20 employees.

Mettalon Plast exports its products to the European Union market, primarily to Germany, Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia, and cooperates successfully with renowned brands in metalworking and construction, including Schüco, Sigenia, Inoutic, Feal, GU, and Würth.

Minister Sibonjic emphasised that this investment is proof that Zeničko-Dobojski Canton is a pillar of economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, noting that the Ministry is preparing a range of measures to improve the business environment with the aim of achieving regional competitiveness in investment and entrepreneurship development.
