Minister Sibonjic: The Festival of Economy Begins in Zenica-Doboj Canton

The Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, announced the beginning of the Economy Festival in Zenica-Doboj Canton, a two-week event that started on 25 September with the opening of the Tešanj Economy Fair and concluded on 5 October, the last day of the General BH Fair ZEPS 2024. Approximately 1,000 exhibitors and brands from across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world gathered for numerous meetings, discussions and business opportunities aimed at the economic development of the canton and the region.

The Tešanj Economy Fair, held from 25 to 28 September, represents the pride of the canton and an example of how success can be achieved despite challenging market conditions. Minister Sibonjic supported companies and exhibitors from the canton in their participation at both fairs, emphasising that only by strengthening the economy can all citizens be empowered and the homeland made strong and stable.

The General BH Fair ZEPS 2024, held from 1 to 5 October, this year had the Republic of Türkiye as its partner country, which participated with leading companies headed by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the second largest chamber of its kind in the world. The Economy Festival confirmed the position of Zenica-Doboj Canton as an indispensable factor of development in this part of Europe.
