Minister Šibonjić visited TISA COMERC with Mojoj BiH Summer School participants

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić visited the company „TISA COMERC" together with the participants of the „Mojoj BiH 2026" Summer School, final-year secondary school students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian diaspora, countries of the region and the Republic of Türkiye. The hosts welcomed the guests warmly and introduced them to an example of successful domestic business. The visit was organised as part of a summer school programme dedicated to connecting young people with the domestic economy.

The „Mojoj BiH 2026" Summer School brings together young people who are about to choose their university studies and future profession, and the programme is designed to give them direct insight into the work of domestic companies through visits to businesses. TISA COMERC was presented as an example of a company that relies on the local workforce, on knowledge and on a responsible relationship towards its community. Company visits represent one of the most important parts of the programme, as they allow students to become acquainted with the economy in the field rather than only through theory.

During the tour, the students spoke with company representatives about its business beginnings, the challenges of the market and employment opportunities, while Minister Šibonjić emphasised the importance of such meetings for connecting the education system with the real sector. „Opening the door to young people means investing in the generations to come and creating opportunities for them to one day invest their knowledge in the development of their own homeland," said Minister Šibonjić. The Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton remains committed to programmes that bring young people closer to the economy and encourage them to build their future in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
