Minister Šibonjić Visits Junior Eko Termik (JET) Company in Tešanj

Minister Šibonjić visited Junior Eko Termik in Tešanj, a steel product manufacturer that has been successfully operating in the domestic market for 25 years.

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić visited the company Junior Eko Termik (JET) d.o.o., headquartered in Vukovo, Tešanj, which has been successfully operating in the field of steel product manufacturing for twenty-five years. The company employs 15 workers and falls within the small enterprise category, yet in terms of quality, expertise, and references, it stands on equal footing with considerably larger operations. Over the past quarter century, they have delivered more than two thousand different solutions for domestic and international partners.

Junior Eko Termik specialises in the production of steel products for the construction sector, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, mining, food and agricultural industry, and the defence industry. The company is particularly distinguished in the manufacture of steel floor gratings, treads, platforms, fire escape staircases, metal floors, and anti-slip systems, as well as fastening elements and metal hardware. The production range also includes expanded metal made from steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, solar panel mounting systems, air conditioning and heat pump brackets, manholes, drainage systems, and metal structures in civil engineering, including access ramps for vulnerable categories of the population.

During the visit, Minister Šibonjić familiarised himself with the company's production capacities and development plans. Of particular significance is the fact that the company is currently expanding its capacities with the construction of an additional 500 square metres of production facilities for metal machining, representing a clear signal of growth and investment in the domestic market. The company is led by Sanela Beširević, owner and director, who together with her team has built a stable and well-organised business system based on custom-made production, flexibility, and extensive experience in metalworking through a long family tradition.

Minister Šibonjić emphasised that companies such as Junior Eko Termik confirm that Zenica-Doboj Canton possesses the knowledge, expertise, and capacity for the production of quality metal solutions, and that the Ministry remains committed to supporting enterprises that invest in domestic production, employment, and the overall economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
