Visit to a Gem of Turkish Industry During Official Stay in Turkey

During his official stay in the Republic of Turkey, Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, visited Ay Yıldız Mühendislik, a renowned Turkish company headquartered in Ankara, specializing in the production of tunnel and mining equipment as well as steel structures. The company operates 9 modern factories, employs more than 400 workers, and has a monthly steel production capacity of 600 tons, exporting its products to 27 countries worldwide.

Ay Yıldız Mühendislik's portfolio includes renowned partners such as Kalyon, Kolin, Cengiz, and IC İçtaş, and the company has been an active contractor on the strategic AKKUYU nuclear power plant project for five years. The quality of its products is confirmed by the highest European and international standards, including ISO, EN, and OHSAS certifications.

Given that Zenica-Doboj Canton is one of the most significant mining regions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister Sibonjic highlighted the great potential for cooperation with this company in the field of mining equipment and steel structures. Discussions focused on concrete partnership opportunities that would contribute to strengthening industrial capacities in the canton.
