Minister Sibonjic participated in the Youth Conference in Travnik organised by the European Movement in BiH, speaking about the economic potential of ZDK.
The European Movement in BiH organised a Youth Conference in Travnik attended by a large number of high school students. Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic participated in the first part of the panel discussion together with Mirsad Jašarspahić from the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, Dino Selimović from the Sarajevo Forum, and Faruk Borić, President of the Bosnian-Chinese Friendship Association. The moderator was Ivan Barbalić, former Ambassador of BiH to the United Nations and Moscow.
In his presentation, Minister Sibonjic spoke about the economic potential of Zenica-Doboj Canton, highlighting several industrial sectors in which the Canton is a leader in the Balkans. He addressed the support available to young people through incentives offered by the relevant ministry, emphasising that there are many opportunities and that the prospects for young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina are realistic.
Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina, in economic terms, is already integrated into European economic flows, and that hardly any car produced in the West does not contain at least one part manufactured in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The conference provided young people with an opportunity to learn about the overall social conditions in the country from the perspective of eminent speakers.
