Ministers Sibonjic and Šabani Visited Universal-Pro d.o.o. in Visoko

Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton Samir Sibonjic and Minister of Transport, Communications and Environment Adnan Šabani visited Universal-Pro d.o.o. in Visoko, marking the first official visit by representatives of any level of government to this company since its founding. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the ZDK Government and the company, with particular emphasis on creating a favourable environment for the further development of small and medium enterprises in the canton.

Universal-Pro has been operating since 1983 in the servicing of electric motors and electro-machines, and since 1996 has expanded its activities to include retail sales of spare parts and lighting fixtures as an authorised distributor of the SKF group. Following a 2005 investment in a 1,400 m2 facility, the company entered metalworking and manufacturing with three CNC machines and fifteen universal machines, currently employing 15 specialists who collaborate with the largest corporations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Minister Sibonjic noted that Universal-Pro, with its unique solutions, has strong prospects for further growth, emphasising that the strength and vitality of the small and medium enterprise sector makes Zeničko-Dobojski Canton more competitive in the market where only the best succeed.
