Representatives of Bridges of Friendship BiH Association Visit Minister Sibonjic

Jasmin Imamović and Mujo Aganović, representatives of the Bridges of Friendship BiH Association, held a meeting with Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic at the Zenica-Doboj Canton headquarters. The meeting took place in the context of current events in the Republic of Türkiye, with the aim of coordinating efforts to provide assistance to the population affected by the devastating earthquake.

The discussion focused on organising concrete forms of assistance and the ways in which institutions of Zenica-Doboj Canton can contribute to humanitarian activities towards the Turkish people. All three have been actively working for years to strengthen friendly and fraternal relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Türkiye, lending this meeting particular significance.

Minister Sibonjic emphasised that solidarity and mutual support form the foundation of the relationship between the two countries and that Zenica-Doboj Canton is prepared to make its contribution to humanitarian efforts. Concrete steps for coordinating assistance in cooperation with relevant institutions and organisations were agreed upon.
