Visit to HGG Company Working on the Vranduk-Nemila Motorway Section

Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic visited HGG company, which is carrying out works on the Vranduk-Nemila motorway section. During the visit, a meeting was held with Mehmet Ufuk Aksakal from HGG, his associates and Bosnian-Herzegovinian partners regarding the progress of works and opportunities for further cooperation with domestic economic entities.

Minister Sibonjic called on HGG to expand cooperation and engagement with companies from Zenica-Doboj Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina. HGG representatives emphasised their satisfaction with the existing cooperation with the Zenica-based company Almy and expressed readiness to intensify cooperation with domestic firms. The importance of engaging local workforce and business entities in the implementation of infrastructure projects was particularly highlighted.

This visit confirms the Ministry of Economy's commitment to actively monitoring major infrastructure projects in the canton and encouraging greater participation of domestic companies in their implementation. The construction of Corridor Vc remains one of the strategic priorities for the overall economic development of the region.
