Another Record Amount of Economic Incentives for ZDK
The ZDK Government approved a record 9.4 million KM for the Economic Incentives Program, a 14.5% increase over the previous year.
The Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, chaired by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, today approved the Economic Incentives Program of the Ministry of Economy in a record amount of 9.4 million KM. For business zones and marketplaces, 4.7 million KM has been planned, while 4.7 million KM has been approved for entrepreneurship, fairs, small and medium enterprises, tourism, crafts, start-ups, and IT.
Minister Sibonjic emphasized that with an increase of 14.5% compared to the previous year, which was also a record, the trend of strengthening the Economic Incentives Program has been continued. The Ministry's goal remains to create the most favorable business environment possible and raise the competitiveness of ZDK's economy to an even higher level, as the Canton's economy is the driver of economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Sibonjic also noted that the Government has made the necessary decisions significantly earlier compared to the previous year, meaning that the funds planned under the Incentives Program will be operational sooner, and that entrepreneurs, workers, and the entire economy will feel the results of the Program more quickly.
