Minister Šibonjić Presents 2026 Incentive Programme for Small and Medium Enterprises

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić and his associates held a working meeting with representatives of business associations, development agencies, and the chamber of commerce and crafts of ZDK, at which the 2026 Incentive Programme for Small and Medium Enterprises was presented. The aim of the meeting was to acquaint key stakeholders in economic development with the support measures that the Ministry plans to implement during the year, directed at strengthening economic competitiveness, developing new investments, employment, and supporting domestic companies.

The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant institutions and organisations, including the Žepče Development Agency, the Business Association "Biznis Centar" Jelah-Tešanj, the Zenica Employers' Association, ZEDA Agency, REZ Regional Economic Community, the ZDK Chamber of Crafts, the Zavidovići Development Agency, the ZDK Chamber of Commerce, the Tešanj Development Agency, and other business associations and professional organisations. The attending businesspeople expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the Ministry to date, noting that their suggestions and proposals had been accepted and implemented.

Minister Šibonjić emphasised that continuous dialogue with businesspeople and support institutions is essential for creating quality measures that will contribute to the development of the economy and the strengthening of the business environment in Zenica-Doboj Canton. The shared goal of all participants is the creation of a stable and competitive business environment that will enable the development of domestic companies, new jobs, and further growth in the canton's industrial production and exports.
