

Attendance at the major meeting of businesspeople and the MÜSİAD board of directors
Minister Sibonjic attended the major meeting of MÜSİAD businesspeople and board of directors, presenting ZDK economic potential.
Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic had the honour of attending the major meeting of businesspeople and the Board of Directors of MÜSİAD, the largest Turkish association of industrialists and businesspeople. On this occasion, the potential, resources and opportunities offered by Zenica-Doboj Canton to new investors were presented, with emphasis on the Canton's economy being a pillar of economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association MÜSİAD (Turkish: Müstakil Sanayici ve İşadamları Derneği) was founded in 1992 as a non-governmental organisation. According to 2021 records, MÜSİAD operates 89 offices in Turkey, 255 offices and representations across 73 countries, and boasts more than 11,000 members. The association holds the ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate and maintains representatives in every province of Turkey.
MÜSİAD organises an annual defence industry fair known as High-Tech Port by MÜSİAD and supports exhibitions by the Turkish Housing Investors Organisation KONUTDER to strengthen ties with Gulf investors. Discussions at the meeting focused on enhancing MÜSİAD's activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including a planned gathering of young association members from 1 to 4 October 2023, bringing together young businesspeople from numerous countries worldwide.
