Bosnia and Herzegovina Awaits Turkish Investors

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic gave an exclusive interview to the Turkish daily Milli Gazete, discussing the investment potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Zenica-Doboj Canton for Turkish investors.

The interview highlighted the significance of deep religious, historical and cultural ties between the two countries and the opportunities the canton offers in the industrial, tourism and energy sectors. The Minister particularly emphasised the advantages of the canton's geographical position, the availability of a qualified workforce, and a favourable regulatory framework for foreign investors, along with concrete examples of successful Turkish investments in the region.

Minister Sibonjic invited Turkish investors to consider concrete investment opportunities in the canton, expressing the conviction that significant untapped potential exists for deepening economic cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Türkiye.
