BiH Delegation at the China-Germany Hidden Champions Forum 2025

A business delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina is in Beijing attending the China-Germany Hidden Champions Forum 2025. The delegation consists of Samir Sibonjic, Minister of Economy of ZDK, Edin Duraković, Minister of Economy of TK, Armin Hodžić representing the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH, Adis Hasaković representing AS Holding, Sanel Ibrić representing the ZEPS Fair, and Hilda Cerić, representative of the Forum organization. This is the second time a delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina has participated in this gathering, which brings together more than 500 entrepreneurs, politicians, and economists from China, Europe, and Germany.

The economic potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented with a focus on the economy of the Federation of BiH, Tuzla Canton, and Zenica-Doboj Canton. Additionally, AS Holding was presented with its potentials in food production, as well as the General BH Fair ZEPS. The BiH delegation briefed officials and participants on topics such as industrial partnership with China, Germany, and the EU, digital transformation, and green transition, and Forum participants were invited to this year's ZEPS.

"All in all, a successful appearance at a very interesting and significant economic Forum which will, we hope, bring the canton economies even closer together in our efforts to develop cooperation for the benefit and satisfaction of all participants. As a Chinese proverb says, in turbulent times, during storms, some build walls to protect themselves, while others build windmills to harness the enormous energy being released. Therefore, the times we live in are certainly an opportunity for a small country and economy like ours to find our place in the global development processes. Bosnia and Herzegovina has its potentials and chances, as well as friends around the world who want to develop cooperation with us. China, Germany, and the EU are certainly among those who stand for joint action for the benefit of all," said Minister of Economy of ZDK, Samir Sibonjic.
