Business Forum Kakanj, Your Next Business Destination

Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton Samir Sibonjic participated in the business forum "Kakanj, Your Next Business Destination!", organised as part of the USAID Diaspora Invest project in cooperation with the American Embassy and the Government of the United States. Minister Sibonjic highlighted that the Ministry has allocated a record 9.4 million KM this year for incentives to support the development of small and medium enterprises, along with significant investments in industrial zones.

It was noted that two municipalities from Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, Tešanj in fourth and Kakanj in seventh place, rank among the top 10 best destinations for investors in Europe, confirming the canton's commitment to attracting investments and creating a quality business environment. Particular potential was identified in the tourism and food production sectors, and in Kakanj specifically in the untapped potential of thermal waters.

The ZDK Government, led by Premier Nezir Pivić, reaffirmed its commitment to providing maximum support for the development of the canton's economy, with special emphasis on cooperation with the diaspora, which represents a significant source of investment and promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina worldwide.
