Minister Šibonjić Participates as Panellist at the Zavidovići Business Forum 2026

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić participated as a panellist at the Zavidovići Business Forum 2026, contributing to a panel dedicated to incentives for domestic production as one of the central themes in Bosnia and Herzegovina's economic development. The forum brought together representatives of institutions, development projects, and business entities in Zavidovići to explore more effective mechanisms of support for domestic producers.

The Zavidovići Business Forum has established itself as a significant platform for dialogue between institutions and the private sector in Zenica-Doboj Canton and the wider region. Through thematically structured panels, the forum aims to bridge the gap between economic policy measures and the actual needs of businesses, with a particular focus on domestic production, new job creation, and export-oriented growth. The panel on incentives for domestic production attracted key stakeholders involved in designing and implementing development programmes at various levels of government.

During the panel discussion, Minister Šibonjić emphasised the need to align support mechanisms so that incentives genuinely reach those who need them most - producers, new employment, and measurable economic growth. He also underlined the importance of coordinated action between institutions, development projects, and business actors as a prerequisite for systemic change. "Only through joint cooperation can we strengthen the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Minister Šibonjić, reaffirming the Ministry's commitment to open dialogue and partnership with the business community of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
