Happy Independence Day, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Minister of Economy of ZDK Samir Sibonjic participated in the Independence Day celebration programme of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zavidovići. The ceremonial parade brought together over 1,000 participants, including representatives of state, cantonal, and city institutions, the Honorary Platoon of the Armed Forces of BiH, the Special Police Unit of ZDK, public enterprises, institutions, associations, students, and citizens.

The Independence Day commemoration served as a reminder of the strength of unity demonstrated in 1992 at the referendum for an independent and sovereign Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants laid a joint wreath as a symbol of unity, reflecting the spirit that characterised the defence of the homeland.

Minister Sibonjic congratulated the organising committee headed by Mayor Erna Merdić Smailhodžić on the outstanding organisation of the event, expressing pride in Zavidovići and emphasising the need to continue building and strengthening the city and the homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina through collective effort.
