Minister Šibonjić attended the commemoration of 1 March in Zavidovići, where more than one thousand citizens participated in the ceremonial parade.
Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić attended the ceremonial commemoration of 1 March - Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zavidovići. More than one thousand citizens participated in the ceremonial parade, including representatives of schools, kindergartens, associations, sports clubs, and institutions, with the city of Zavidovići demonstrating a remarkable example of unity and patriotism.
The commemoration programme began with paying tribute at the Central Memorial, honouring the memory of fallen soldiers and civilian victims of the war. The ceremonial parade through the city brought together citizens of all generations who jointly marked one of the most significant dates in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The concluding part of the programme was held at the City Stadium, where children from Zavidovići schools and cultural groups performed.
Minister Šibonjić highlighted the importance of commemorating Independence Day as an expression of citizens' commitment to preserving and strengthening the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The large turnout at the commemoration programme in Zavidovići confirmed that the strength of unity and dedication to the values upon which independence was founded remain a solid foundation for the further development of society and the state.
