Important Meeting at the Ministry of Economy of ZDK

As part of their visit to Istanbul, the delegation of the Government of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton held a meeting with the President of the Turkish Industry and Business Association MÜSİAD, Mahmut Asmalı. MÜSİAD is one of the most influential business organisations in Turkey, active on all continents, with an extensive network of members across various economic sectors.

During the discussions, mutual interest in enhancing economic cooperation was expressed, with emphasis on the strategic position of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton as an industrial centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the immediate vicinity of the European Union. This geographical and economic context makes the canton particularly attractive to Turkish investors and business partners.

Both sides expressed readiness to pursue concrete cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with the hope that identified opportunities will be utilised as soon as possible. It was noted that there is considerable scope for collaboration and that discussions will continue at the operational level.
