Meeting with Emilija Redžepi - Strengthening Cooperation and Preserving Identity

Minister of Economy of ZDK Samir Sibonjic met with Emilija Redžepi, the first Bosniak woman in the history of Kosovo to hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister. The conversation covered possibilities for economic cooperation between the Zenica-Doboj Canton and Kosovo, with particular focus on potential improvements in economic ties.

During the meeting, issues of preserving the Bosnian language and culture in the diaspora were also discussed, along with the challenges faced by Bosniak communities in both countries. Both sides expressed readiness to take concrete steps towards strengthening cultural and economic relations.

The interlocutors agreed that serious and continuous discussions about the future of Bosniak communities are needed, and that institutional cooperation represents a key mechanism for preserving identity and advancing economic prosperity.
