Strengthening Cooperation with TIKA for Better Development of ZDK

Minister of Economy of ZDK Samir Sibonjic hosted representatives of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) at the Ministry, headed by the Coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina Erdinç Işık. Mayor of Zavidovići Erna Merdić Smailhodžić also attended the meeting.

Discussions covered opportunities for cooperation and joint projects that would contribute to the economic development of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. Minister Sibonjic thanked TIKA for over 1,000 successfully completed projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting their significant contribution to the development of local infrastructure and communities.

Both sides expressed expectations that future cooperation will bring new opportunities for the development of the economy, infrastructure, and local communities in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, with a continued coordinated approach to identifying and implementing development projects.
