Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Business Ties Between BiH and Kosovo

Minister Sibonjic led a business mission to Kosovo to strengthen regional cooperation and business ties between BiH and Kosovo.

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, led a business mission on a visit to Kosovo, with the aim of strengthening regional cooperation and business ties. During the visit, Minister Sibonjic emphasized the importance of connecting entrepreneurs from both regions, highlighting the potential for joint projects and investments. This initiative represents a step toward better economic integration and exchange of experiences between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.

Among the companies participating in the business mission were economic entities from across Bosnia and Herzegovina, including manufacturing and engineering firms INELEX DOO Sarajevo, DELING DOO Tuzla, Plastex Gračanica, Prevent d.o.o. Srebrenica, MGV Gradnja DOO, Promo d.o.o. Donji Vakuf, and Alternativa d.o.o. Sarajevo. The transport and logistics sector was represented by Centrotrans Sarajevo and Transagent Sarajevo, while telecommunications and technology were represented by BH Telecom and MIBO Komunikacije d.o.o. Sarajevo. The food and textile industry was represented by Klas d.d. Sarajevo, Swity d.o.o. Gradačac, and Alma Ras d.o.o. Olovo, along with companies Bosnaplast d.o.o. Bosanski Petrovac, ZEPS Zenica, UNIS TOK Kalesija, and Eurokapija - Akta.ba.

This business mission represents an important step toward improving trade relations between BiH and Kosovo. The goal was not only to present the domestic economy but also to open the door to concrete forms of cooperation, exports, and joint projects and investments. Organizers emphasized that the response from companies and the interest from both countries is a clear indicator of the readiness of economic actors to build bridges of cooperation and contribute to the economic development of the region.
