Meeting with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Delegation at the Ministry of Economy of ZDK

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic hosted a delegation from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the second largest in the world, at the Ministry offices. The delegation from Turkey was led by Aylin Odabaş, Director of the Fairs Department of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the participation of Turkish companies at the upcoming International General BH Fair ZEPS 2025, which represents a key platform for regional economic networking. Ms Odabaş highlighted the continued interest of Turkish companies in regional integration and investment, while personally emphasising her emotional and professional connection to Zenica.

Minister Sibonjic expressed satisfaction with the cooperation, noting that with the return of ZEPS last year, a significant step forward was made for Bosnia and Herzegovina, while this year edition of the fair presents an opportunity to further strengthen economic ties with the entire region. Both sides expressed readiness to deepen cooperation in the coming period.
