Minister of Economy of ZDK Visited Visoko-based El Company: Incentive Funds Strengthen Company's Position in EU Markets

ZDK Minister of Economy visited El Company Visoko - DIY furniture and pet programme, incentive-funded machines, 87% export to France, Netherlands, Belgium.

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic and his associates visited the company El Company d.o.o. in Visoko, where he spoke with the owner Ejub Begović and his employees. The company is a beneficiary of incentive funds from the Ministry of Economy, with whose help additional machines were acquired for the production of finished products in two programmes: the Pet programme, which includes pet houses, and the DIY furniture programme.

El Company was founded in 2015 and currently employs 52 workers. The company is engaged in the production of products and semi-finished products from solid wood, with a primary range including do-it-yourself furniture, furniture parts and pet furniture. Since entering the European market, the company has recorded steady production growth, with a current export share of 87 per cent, while business has expanded from the French and Dutch markets to the Belgian market as well.

Minister Sibonjic expressed satisfaction with the results of El Company, emphasising that the acquisition of technologically advanced machines directly contributes to increased turnover and improved quality of finished products. He noted that such examples of successful utilisation of incentive funds confirm the justification of the Ministry of Economy's policy aimed at strengthening competitiveness and creating a more favourable business environment in Zenica-Doboj Canton.
