Minister Šibonjić presented the ZEPS 2026 programme at a press conference in Zenica

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić took part in a press conference held in Zenica ahead of the forthcoming ZEPS 2026 International General Trade Fair of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The fair will be held from 2 to 5 September and will bring together business people, companies, institutions and business partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, and the programme of this year's edition was presented at the conference.

ZEPS is one of the most significant economic fairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has for years served as a meeting point for domestic and foreign companies, an exchange of experience and the establishment of business contacts. This year's edition is organised under the slogan "Business First!", with a programme focused on direct business matchmaking between exhibitors, the presentation of the production capacities of domestic companies and the opening of access to new markets. Alongside the exhibition itself, the fair includes accompanying content intended for meetings between businesses and institutions.

At the conference, Minister Šibonjić emphasised that the aim of this year's fair is for domestic companies to be given as much space as possible to present themselves, connect and find new partners. "We want our companies to be in focus, to present what they do and to find new business partners here," said Minister Šibonjić. He was joined by the Mayor of Zenica Fuad Kasumović, the Mayor of Cazin Nermin Ogrešević, the Mayor of Gračanica Sadmir Džebo and the Executive Director of ZEPS Sanel Ibrić, who assessed that the fair connects cities, companies and markets and creates room for stronger economic cooperation. The Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton remains committed to supporting events that open the way for domestic companies towards new business opportunities and markets.
