Minister Sibonjic held a working meeting with a FIPA delegation on investment potential and business zones in Zenica-Doboj Canton.
Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic, together with his associates, held a working meeting with a delegation from the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), comprising Head of the Projects Department Stipo Đak, Head of the Foreign Investor Support Department Dika Mustafić and Senior Project Advisor Sevda Valjevčić. The meeting focused on the Ministry's and cantonal Government's activities in improving the investment environment in Zenica-Doboj Canton.
The Ministry presented updated information on investment locations, business zones, potential business zones, attractive land sites and investment projects to be promoted to foreign investors through FIPA. Discussions also covered public-private partnership projects that FIPA has been promoting at the international level.
An agreement was reached on the preparation of promotional materials containing information on new business zones and investment projects, which FIPA will present to foreign investors worldwide at conferences, roundtables, business forums and other international business events. Such meetings represent an important step in the systematic attraction of foreign direct investment to the Canton.
