Minister Sibonjic Hosts Hako Duljević: Discussion on Cooperation with Sandžak

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, met with Mr. Hako Duljević, a prominent Sarajevo-based entrepreneur and president of the DULJEVIC Foundation, originally from Sandžak. Discussions focused on the state and potential of economic cooperation between Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Sandžak region, with a particular focus on strengthening interregional ties.

Special attention was given to the strategic initiative for the construction of a highway on the Sarajevo – Novi Pazar – Bihać route, which would have multiple benefits: connecting two major regions, improving trade and logistics connectivity, and opening new opportunities for the development of the economy, tourism, and human resources. Minister Sibonjic emphasized that the ZDK Ministry of Economy is ready to support initiatives that bring long-term benefits and further connect regions that share cultural and economic interests.

"Such projects not only bring people closer together but also open the door to investments, export growth, and new jobs. Connecting Sarajevo, Novi Pazar, and Bihać represents a historic opportunity that we should all support together," emphasized Minister Sibonjic.
