Minister Sibonjic Visited the Türkiye Bosna Sandžak Association Which Holds Special Status in Turkey

Minister Sibonjic visited the Türkiye Bosna Sandžak Association in Istanbul, the largest Bosniak association in Turkey with special status.

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited the Türkiye Bosna Sandžak Association in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul. Founded in 1989, the Association is the largest Bosniak organisation in Turkey and holds special status recognised by the Republic of Türkiye. It operates a cultural centre building with numerous facilities for hosting various gatherings and is actively engaged in preserving Bosniak tradition and culture.

Over the past three decades, the Association has hosted numerous prominent Bosniaks from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sandžak. Despite the visit taking place on a Sunday, the Association's leadership welcomed Minister Sibonjic and familiarised him with the significance of the organisation, its position in Turkish society and the state, as well as its current activities.

Minister Sibonjic took the opportunity to present the hosts with investment opportunities in the economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasised that entrepreneurs in the Canton are highly capable of creating excellent business opportunities, and that cooperation with them has proved beneficial for many investors, noting that Zenica-Doboj Canton is one of the most business-active regions in the Balkans.
