

Minister Sibonjic Meets with Representatives of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce in Turkey
Minister Sibonjic met with the Bartın Chamber of Commerce leadership. Investments, exports, and cooperation in industry and construction discussed.
During his visit to the Republic of Turkey, Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, met with the leadership of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce (Bartın Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası - TSO), led by President Halil Balık, board members, and representatives of relevant institutions. The meeting was held ahead of the Forum on Economic Cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey, scheduled for July 10, 2025.
Information was exchanged on public support mechanisms, industrial infrastructure, and investment potential on both sides. President of Bartın TSO Halil Balık emphasized the readiness of the Bartın business community to expand exports and strengthen cooperation, particularly in the areas of industry, furniture, construction, and textiles. Minister Sibonjic emphasized that Turkey is a priority and reliable partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina in all areas, particularly in the economy, and that he was impressed by the production capacities of Bartın and the support that local institutions provide to the economy.
The meeting concluded in a constructive atmosphere, with mutual satisfaction and expressed readiness to continue and intensify contacts and cooperation. Minister Sibonjic expressed his conviction that this visit will serve as the foundation for building a strong economic bridge between Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Bartın region.
