Minister Sibonjic received a delegation from the Yunus Emre Institute

A delegation from the Yunus Emre Institute Sarajevo, led by Director Mehmet Akif Yaman, visited the Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton. Minister Sibonjic and his associates were briefed on the activities the Institute carries out in the canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina, including school twinning and Turkish language learning programmes, as well as plans and programmes for the coming period.

Minister Sibonjic expressed gratitude for the visit and extended condolences to the Republic of Türkiye on behalf of the citizens of Zenica-Doboj Canton for all those who perished in the earthquake that struck Türkiye and Syria. He emphasised that Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina share a long-standing friendly cooperation that will continue in the future, with a particular focus on developing economic cooperation, and that the Ministry stands ready to support Turkish and all other investors.

The Director of the Yunus Emre Institute announced that a "Children's Days" event would be held in Zenica-Doboj Canton, bringing together children from the canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Such cultural and educational programmes further strengthen the friendly ties between the two countries and contribute to mutual understanding.
